Mixed Media Mania Greeting Cards

I was very fortunate to teach at the In2Crafts workshops from 30 July to 1 August.

Here are the details of the project as promised...

We used the Martha Stewart Scoring Board when we made the box.

Add small beads to any ordinary paper-clip to jazz it up!

Use wide double-sided tape to adhere clip art to a microscope slide before adding to a greeting card.  The images are from Shabby Cottage Studio - I just love Gail's stuff!!

For this card we've used images from paper serviettes (napkins) and a painted canvas heart.

Rouge a paper doily and add circles cut out of quilting fabric with your die-cutting machine  to add a real shabby chic feel to your card.

Metal tape bought from your local hardware store looks great when embossed.  Use drywall  tape (Rhino Tape) to add texture to the background.

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Women's Day to all my South African friends!
